{"id":3558,"date":"2026-04-13T08:15:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T08:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/climatevdo.com\/?p=3558"},"modified":"2026-04-15T06:42:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T06:42:27","slug":"mynu-energy-launches-mobile-solar-and-battery-energy-storage-system-pv-magazine-international","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/climatevdo.com\/?p=3558","title":{"rendered":"MyNu Energy launches mobile solar and battery energy storage system \u2013 pv magazine International"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div class=\"article-lead-text\">\n<p>MyNu Energy has launched a mobile solar generation and battery energy storage system designed to reduce reliance on diesel as the Middle East crisis continues to cause concerns about fuel shortages and uncertain energy costs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>                                                                                <time class=\"entry-published updated\" datetime=\"2026-04-13T10:15:42+02:00\" itemprop=\"datePublished\" title=\"Monday, April 13, 2026, 10:15 am\">April 13, 2026<\/time><br \/>\n                                            <span class=\"entry-author\" itemprop=\"author\" itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Person\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pv-magazine.com\/author\/davidcarroll\/\" title=\"Posts by David Carroll\" class=\"author url fn\" rel=\"author\">David Carroll<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>From <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pv-magazine-australia.com\/2026\/04\/13\/mynu-energy-launches-mobile-solar-and-battery-energy-storage-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pv magazine Australia<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Australian energy solutions provider MyNu Energy has unveiled a trailer-mounted solar and battery energy storage system designed to replace traditional diesel-fuelled generators as businesses look to manage energy costs and reduce exposure to fuel supply disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>The PowerQub-M Mobile Power Station\u00a0combines a\u00a03 kW demountable solar array\u00a0with battery storage options ranging from\u00a060 kWh to 240 kWh and can deliver between\u00a025 kVA and 160 kVA of power\u00a0depending on configuration, with both\u00a0three-phase\u00a0and single-phase outlets.<\/p>\n<p>The company said the mobile power plant can also be customized to meet specific customer requirements, including integrating with larger ground-mounted portable solar systems.<\/p>\n<p>MyNu said the PowerQub-M is designed and assembled in Australia, with company co-founder Shaun Nugent\u00a0highlighting that the ability to deploy power quickly in remote or temporary locations was a key driver behind the design.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to create something that could be moved easily and set up quickly wherever power is needed, whether that\u2019s a construction site, a farm, an event or even disaster recovery situations,\u201d he said. \u201cThe trailer-based design means it can be deployed rapidly without the need for permanent infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MyNu expects demand across sectors including\u00a0construction, agriculture, remote infrastructure, events and emergency response, particularly in regions where diesel logistics remain challenging.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t just about sustainability, it\u2019s about practicality,\u201d Nugent said. \u201cBusinesses need power they can rely on, and increasingly they\u2019re looking for solutions that aren\u2019t tied to diesel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nugent said the system also offers advantages for equipment performance, with battery-based power delivering more stable electricity compared to some diesel generators.<\/p>\n<p>MyNu co-founder\u00a0John Myler\u00a0said the launch of the mobile energy plant comes amid a growing shift toward alternative power solutions as businesses look to exert more control over their energy use and costs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re hearing from farmers, construction operators and regional businesses who are struggling with both the cost and availability of diesel,\u201d he said. \u201cPower is critical to their operations, and they need solutions that are reliable, but also independent of fuel supply chains.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"disclaimer\">\n<p>This content is protected by copyright and may not be reused.
